Father's Day

 But not just Father's Day

 It is Sunday,  the Lord's Day

It is a day that we come together to Worship

This Sunday we join some friends at the church that is very close to our home

It is not like where I grew up and where we raised our family. 
  But they preach the true Word of God and we love that. 

While this is the House of the Lord, many are wearing the same thing they wear when they go grocery shopping.
   I do not.  Even in Covid, I dressed for Sunday, made a Sunday dinner and we even took a Sunday drive. 

The world around has changed
         God's Word has not
Many friends keep their distance
          The Lord is always near

We are aware of the hard times, painful, ongoing
          And Jesus always gives us something
           to be thankful for, always 
          
What a friend we have in Jesus 

I live an exciting life
