 Not even half way into our vacation and so much enjoyment

Not a skyline view, but early morning  view to the left.   The German Bakery,  the Gelato, and the gift shop. Also, tucked away to the far left, a great fish and chips and beyond stop.

The red sign... the Bakery, they are not open yet.


Then off to Baby Beach

Time for Mama and son to snorkel
Time for Grammy to walk the beach 

This beach is almost private today 

The surf is up...
 that is what they said. a little too big for beginners
 but fun to watch the pros

Back to the condo for a quiet supper 

Then a final swim before sunset

 Monday on Maui

The main event for us was  dinner at Mama's Fish House.    We went to town early to shop around, but did not make any purchases ?

First things first.. leave room for dessert

            could have enjoyed even more..

it's called
Bouillabaisse

 and the taste was fine

Great ... tasted better than it looks 

This was the best dessert of them all

Kuau Chocolate pie baked in a Caramel cookie crust 

Anita says they have the best ice cream  
and she's sticking to it

Sunday, the Lord's Day 

Christian fixed breakfast, then the 3 of them off to the beach

  we were thankful to worship with our long time friend

New straw hat... old sweet friend

and now i know how that straw hat looks on Grammy,,,  hmm

Back to the lanai and then up to the Lavender fields
